Whenever, for example, clothes chafe against the skin or skin chafes against skin, sweat builds up in folds or urine is in contact with the skin for too long, this can cause irritations and soreness. Linola Protective Balm has been developed to counteract these problems. Thanks to its soft protective film, this balm keeps irritants away from the skin without allowing moisture to build up (see figure). In addition, valuable plant-based components help to prevent skin irritations and promote the skin’s natural regeneration process. The special formulation of Linola Protective Balm creates a transparent and long-lasting protective film on the skin.

Directions of Use
To allow Linola Protective Balm to prevent soreness, a thin layer should be applied to all affected skin areas in the genital and anal region. For adults, an approx. 2cm long ribbon of the balm is normally sufficient, yet more can be used if necessary. When used for sport-related soreness (e.g., due to cycling, riding, rowing) or urinary and rectal incontinence, application several times per day is recommended. The protective film should also always be reapplied after using toilet paper, cleansing wet wipes or cloths to remove urine and faeces. If the removal of faecal remains with toilet paper itself causes unpleasant skin irritations, Linola Protective Balm can provide relief here. If the balm is applied before going to the toilet, any remains can be gently wiped away using soft toilet paper causing less irritation to the skin.If this is not sufficient, more Linola Protective Balm can be applied with soft toilet paper. With subsequent careful wiping, any remains can then be removed particularly easily and in a skin-friendly way.
Linola Protective Balm should be reapplied to the baby’s genital and anal region with every nappy change. This is how the protection against soreness is maintained and, next time, new faeces can be easily wiped away with soft tissues. Of course, Linola Protective Balm is easy to remove while bathing.
